5th Grade has started working on their mini golf courses. They will be using cans and boxes from the food drive along with other materials. During this experiment, they will be exploring Newton's Laws of Motion. During the week the winning classes of the Food Drive will get a chance to play the courses!
This Week!
Today we honored our Veterans with a breakfast, national anthem sung by Cerbat Singers and Kindergarteners, and then ending with a parade. Thank you all again who have served!
In honor of National Diabetes Day Check out Evelynn's Video on Diabetes she made for Health day at school. She has been a Type 1 diabetic since 2nd grade and her video is gaining attention from diabetic groups across the nation!

Tuesday was Health Career Day. We had Mangelsdorf Family Dentistry, Coach and Mr. Wigal, and Various Classroom Activities. The dentist gave each student a toothbrush and toothpaste. The students learned about different careers in the medical field. Here are some photos!

There are no rehearsals on Tuesday or Wednesday this week
we WILL be singing the National Anthem on Thursday morning. They should meet in the music room at 7:30 am for a quick warm-up before we go to the gym to sing.

Our school will also display traditional items and crafts in remembrance. If you would like to add a craft or photo to the ofrenda please send it in with your child. Please label the item with your child's full name and teacher. We will post pictures of our final display. As a reminder, this is on a volunteer basis.
